Barrister Eze Amechi Augustus obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Nigeria in 1989, and a Masters Degree from the same institution in 2012. He joined the academic staff of the Law Faculty of Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 2021 as Lecturer II. Barrister Eze teaches .Company and Partnership Law and Energy and Mineral resources Law.

His areas of research interest/specialization are: Energy and Natural Resources Law, International Environmental Law, and Law of International Institutions.
