Professor Osita N.Ogbu is a well-renowned scholar and a former Dean of the Law Faculty of Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He has been a reader in the Law Faculty of Anambra State University, Igbariam Campus. He holds LL.B (Hons), LL.M, and PhD in Law. He has to his credit many national and international journal articles and book chapters including:
- “Modern Nigerian Legal System”
- “Punishments in Islamic Criminal Law as Antithetical to Human Dignity: The Nigerian Experience”
Professor Ogbu is member of several professional bodies including:
- Nigeria Bar Association
- Association of Nigeria Law Teachers
He teaches Human Rights Law, Constitutional Law, Good Governance and Corruption, and Jurisprudence & Legal Theory. His areas of interest include: Human Rights and Good Governance.
